The pyramid of problem-solving and adaptation provides a perspective to a unique and ill-defined problem. It also provides an approach to evolve towards solutions to novel problems using the evolution of unique approaches to addressing problems, ranging from the most basic level to the most sophisticated. This narrative will discuss each of the 8 levels of the pyramid of maturity, the signals to look for at each level using workplace examples to illustrate the concepts, and the recommended approach to elevate to the next level.
